Week 10: August 9 - August 15, 2004

We have almost completed the sheathing on the exterior walls. Shown here is the new level of scaffolding which makes it possible to install the top layer of plywood; and some more Tyvek.

We built lots of scaffolding this week; shown at left (looking up) are some temporary sliding platforms within the 3-foot zone between the existing house and the main part of the addition.
constructionWe also constructed the mezzanine within the big studio space, shown in the foreground covered by a blue tarp. During construction, we use these various platforms to bring plywood sheathing up to the scaffolding.
